   Delivery Schedule

Parcel Carrier Failure
If a parcel carrier such as UPS, FedEx, or Airborne Express fails to deliver your gift basket on time due to bad or adverse weather conditions including snow, UPS, FedEx and Airborne do not offer shipping refunds. Thus, we are also unable to offer shipping refunds for late deliveries caused by adverse weather conditions.

If a parcel carrier such as UPS, FedEx, or Airborne Express fails to deliver your gift basket on time, except in the case of an act of God (including bad weather), an act of war, or high seasonal shipping volumes such as Christmas, then the incremental difference between Express delivery (Next Business Day, 2nd Business Day, or 3rd Business Day) and Ground Delivery will be refunded. 


Delivery Within United States Only

GiftBasket.com only ships within the fifty states of the United States.  We do not ship to U.S. territories or other countries.  To P.O. Boxes, we ship selected gift baskets only

For gift baskets shipped to Alaska or Hawaii, you must select Next Business Day shipping. When ordering a gift basket for delivery to Alaska or Hawaii, please allow an extra day for delivery. For example, when you select Next Business Day service to Hawaii, your gift basket will be delivered on the 2nd Business Day.


APO and FPO

GiftBasket.com ships selected gift baskets only to APO and FPO military addresses. Orders sent to APO and FPO addresses are shipped to the appropriate military mail locations, then are delivered by the military mail service.  Thus, guaranteed delivery dates and delivery confirmations are NOT available for APO and FPO orders. Please allow 3 to 5 weeks for delivery to APO and FPO addresses.


P.O. Boxes

GiftBasket.com ships selected gift baskets only to P.O. Boxes. Orders sent to P.O. Boxes are shipped to the appropriate Post Office, then picked up by the gift recipient.

GiftBasket.com will process and ship your orders Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

Deadline For Same Day Shipping
During the majority of the year, if we receive your order by 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Pacific Standard Time, we will ship your order on the same day.  Otherwise, we will ship your order on the next business day (Monday through Friday) excluding holidays.  However, our shipping and delivery schedule changes during major holidays such as Christmas.  Please see the daily shipping and delivery schedule at the top of every page of our website for daily deadlines. We are not responsible for delivery delays when FedEx and other air parcel carriers experience delays due to high seasonal volumes, extreme weather, mechanical failures, etc.

Shipping Options

You have the option of shipping your gift baskets using:

  • Ground Delivery (Please allow 5-7 business days for Ground Delivery.)

  • Second Business Day

  • Next Business Day

  • Next Day Saturday

Please note that Saturday and Sunday are not considered delivery days.  For example, if you place your order on Friday before 12:00 p.m. (Noon) PST and request Second Business Day delivery, we will ship your gift basket on Friday and it will be delivered on Tuesday.  If you place your order on Friday after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) PST and request Second Business Day delivery, we will ship your gift basket on Monday and it will be delivered on Wednesday. 

Shipping rates vary by gift basket.  You will be given the choice and cost of all shipping methods while you are shopping on GiftBasket.com and before you check out.


Determining Your Order's Shipping and Delivery Schedule
Please count only business days, Monday through Friday. Exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and all holidays that fall on business days. For example, if you place an order before the daily 12:00 Noon PST deadline on a Thursday, and select 2nd Business Day, your order will ship on Thursday and be delivered on Monday. However, if that Monday is a holiday, your order will be delivered on Tuesday. Hawaii and Alaska

For gift baskets shipped to Alaska or Hawaii, you must select Next Business Day shipping. When ordering a gift basket for delivery to Alaska or Hawaii, please allow an extra day for delivery. For example, when you select Next Business Day service to Hawaii, your gift basket will be delivered on the 2nd Business Day.


Valid Addresses
You are responsible for providing correct and complete shipping addresses including street number, street name including floor, suite or apartment number, and zip code. Parcel carriers such as UPS and Federal Express charge for address correction. We ship selected gift baskets only to P.O. Boxes.
